Younger Generations on the Korean Peninsula initiates an open platform for younger generation for a collective discussion about North Korean defectors and building peace in the Korean Peninsula. The event invites young individuals from the greater Los Angeles to openly question, share ideas, and debate about domestic and global actions to create peaceful Korean Peninsula while being abroad.
First discussion People from North Korea introduces different perceptions towards North Korean defectors. Through diverse perspectives, the discussion shares ways to understand and approach people defected from North Korea. Second discussion Envisioning Peace presents younger generation’s passion and projects to support South and North Korea’s improved relationship through their effective and responsible actions.
