    Your Gift Matters

The UCLA International Institute promotes the study of the world at UCLA, supporting research and education that address the critical global issues of our time. Your generous support will strengthen the Institute's academic programs, give students the life-changing opportunity to study abroad, and help fund our many public events.

Our Mission

The UCLA International Institute advances global understanding through teaching, research, and public engagement. As UCLA's hub for international and area studies, the Institute brings together scholars, students, and global partners to examine the world's most pressing challenges across regions, cultures, and disciplines.
Through interdisciplinary academic programs, research centers, language instruction, and international partnerships, the Institute prepares students to become informed global citizens and leaders. Its work strengthens UCLA's commitment to international scholarship and connects the university to communities around the world.

Why Your Gift Matters
